FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Vendetta Online expands its MMO galaxy to include Google Daydream VR. MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, March 30th, 2017. Guild Software, makers of the cross-platform Space MMORPG, Vendetta Online, have launched support for Google's Daydream VR devices. People with official Daydream-compliant phones and headsets may now join thousands of players online, piloting ships and exploring a massive galaxy. "We're excited to see our title debut on this mobile-VR ecosystem," said John Bergman, CEO of Guild Software. "The immersion made possible by Daydream, along with the intensity and social dynamics of a true space MMORPG, will give people an unforgettable experience." Vendetta Online includes extensive support for the Daydream Motion Controller, allowing pilots to fly and navigate their ships, while also enabling a special "laser pointer" mode for selecting distant objects. Daydream support will arrive with a new "Vendetta Online HD" application, separate from the historical package of Vendetta Online for Android. Along with VR support, the new "HD" version also includes substantial optimizations for modern ARMv8 CPUs and OpenGL ES 3.1, along with higher definition texture assets.
